After years of raising pit bulls and years of seeing, hearing, reading, and watching the ignorance of STUPID people, I have decided to make a page strictly dedicated to SAVING the Pit Bull name. I'm tired of ignorant people, tired of the news and media, tired of everyone THINKING they know what type of dog a Pit Bull TRULY is! What most people don't understand and don't care to understand is that Pit Bulls were bred, yes BRED to be FAMILY dogs! Not these creatures that cowardly people have created today. It is not the dog's fault that it was raised in a home where it recieved no love and no sympathy from its master. It's not the dogs fault that its owner was too much of a coward to do their own fighting, so they sent in a dog to do it for them. The American Pit Bull Terrier is the GREATEST dog on the earth. They will never give up, they will never back down, they will never give you enough love, and they will never leave their master!Thats why they receive so much hatred! If there was any other dog on the face of this earth that was as powerful, courageous, loving, loyal, and determined as a pit bull, then I GUARANTEE you that dog would be in the news and in the ring fighting. But there's not. So instead of hearing "another man was arrested today for abusing his pit bull" we hear, "another person was mauled by a pit bull" Instead of blaming the owners and irresponsible people, we would rather blame the dog. or rather, the BREED of dog. WHY? Because the dog can't defend itself. It can't tell you what kind of abuse it was put through, just so it can APPEAR to be tough. I dont care what ANYONE says, EVERY ONE of my dogs, is the BIGGEST baby in the world! And there are many many other people out there who have bought a puppy from Desert Dawgs who can testify to the same thing! I have seen most of the pups as adults, and we try to check up on them as often as possible. Just with any creature and even human beings, pit bulls will act the way you raise them. So for those of you out there trying to keep whats left of the pit bull name out of the mud, Desert Dawgs commends you! So take a few minutes of your time and watch some of these videos.
